The internship and graduation team for MBO and HBO students will further digitalise the process for internship agreements by replacing the paper (postal) process with an integrated digital signing process.
Corona Meerman recently joined NTI as Manager Operations, responsible for the internship and graduation team where MBO and HBO students are supervised during their internship and graduation assignments. “What struck me quite quickly was that employees were regularly standing at the photocopier copying packages of paper. Three times eleven pages on which ultimately signatures from the student, the training company, and NTI need to appear, which must be archived and sent by post to the student and the training company.” Meerman realised that the paper (postal) process was a labour-intensive and error-prone process with a long turnaround time. It was also a process in which the team had to invest significant time in following up and collecting signed contracts. “Speed and quality are highly valued at NTI,” she says, “and we translate that to our online offering and e-learning as well. So the decision to also invest in process integration was made immediately. The internship agreements need a signature? Then we choose a digital signing process!”
Speed and quality in agreement turnaround time
ValidSign was approached because through another party, a request had previously been made to place a digital signature; a simple action that had left a positive impression. A meeting was arranged at short notice and it was demonstrated that the turnaround time of internship agreements could be significantly reduced. The digital process ensures that the complete document remains intact and of high quality, while being simpler and more user-friendly. The end result delivers a compliant file.
