What does the role involve?
As a Java Developer at ValidSign, you will join a versatile development team. Together, you are responsible for the technical development of our software solutions. With colleagues in the Netherlands, Ukraine, and Poland, we are flexibly organised. From bi-weekly sprints, you devise great solutions that optimally support our customers in the digital signing process. You will have the freedom and responsibility to achieve the best results in your own way. You are in direct contact with the Scrum Master and the rest of the team to ensure optimal collaboration between our products.
Your responsibilities include:
- Building new features and maintaining existing systems;
- Rebuilding our microservices for our SaaS application ValidSign, such as authentication and authorisation systems, as well as document solutions;
- Building integrations with, for example, government systems;
- Contributing innovative ideas for the further development of ValidSign as a SaaS solution.
What do we ask of you?

- At least 4 years of professional Java Software Development experience;
- Experience with Spring Boot;
- Clean coding and automated testing is your preference;
- Experience working in Agile and DevOps environments;
- Experience with microservices architectures is a plus;
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes is a plus;
- Experience setting up continuous integration and delivery pipelines is a plus.
