ValidSign at the ICT Career Day in Deventer

ValidSign at the ICT Career Day in Deventer

On Thursday, March 24, 2022, ValidSign was on the ICT Career Day in the Business Club of Go Ahead Eagles. This day was created by Deventer Information City and is intended to help studying and recently graduated ICT professionals find great internships, graduation assignments or even a new job.

ValidSign is always looking for the best ICT professionals, so this career day was the perfect opportunity to present ourselves to this young target group. We were able to speak to many students and have a few nice contacts left over from this career day. As far as we are concerned, a successful afternoon. We would like to thank everyone who visited our stand.

Primera chooses ValidSign!

Primera chooses ValidSign!

The Dutch retail chain Primera, specializing in magazines and newspapers, greeting and gift cards, stationery and raffles has chosen for the digital signature of ValidSign.

Hielco Spruijt, Store Automation Manager at Primera: “After an extensive pre-selection, we chose for ValidSign including the SharePoint integration. The user friendliness and the extensive functionalities of the platform made the difference.
The digital signature will be used in all departments where (legally valid) signatures are required. Documents as purchasing, business and HR related agreements will be digitally signed. The secretariat is enthusiastic and the first experiences are very positive. This will give Primera a lot of spending advantage.”

We are pleased to support Primera in their digital signing journey.

From now on, The Hague University of Applied Sciences will sign its documents digitally with ValidSign

From now on, The Hague University of Applied Sciences will sign its documents digitally with ValidSign

After an extensive study of various digital signing solutions, The Hague University of Applied Sciences has opted for ValidSign. She has chosen ValidSign for the appropriate technical possibilities. With approximately 26,000 students and 2,000 employees, The Hague University of Applied Sciences is an educational institution of great size, where a huge number of documents are signed.

The solution will be deployed directly within the Operations & Control (B&C) and Human Resource Management (HRM) department for signing new and extended contracts (new employees and hiring external parties). The Purchasing department will follow at a later stage.

Contracts that used to be taken from agency to agency to be signed are now signed in a few mouse clicks and sent to the right person immediately after signing.

Documents will be signed from the ValidSign platform until the link between the recently chosen DMS/RMS system Corsa from BCT has been realized. From that moment on, the signing process will take place entirely in the DMS/RMS.

The birth registration eDienst is live!

The birth registration eDienst is live!

Since the strengthening of the partnership between ValidSign and Centric that took place in April 2021, a lot of work has been done on the integrations between ValidSign and Centric’s core applications.

Since 1 January 2022, for example, it has been possible to digitally sign the birth declaration with ValidSign in Centric Burgerzaken. New parents can then digitally declare their newborn baby together, from the hospital or simply from home, with the birth declaration eDienst. In this way, both parents are involved in the declaration of their child, which was often impossible because of the three-day period.

How it works? They go to the website of the municipality on their phone, tablet or laptop and log in with DigiD to the eDienst Aangifte geboorte. Here they fill in the birth details of their child and select the doctor or midwife who was present at the birth. After this, the relevant midwife or doctor receives a digital birth file together with a digital doctor’s statement and easily signs it digitally with ValidSign.

The signed birth file is digitally sent to the registrar. After checking the data, he or she presses agreement and the child is automatically included in the Personal Records Database.

Other integrations between ValidSign and core Centric applications will follow. Soon, the eServices Applications for proxy voting pass and Passing on relocation will also be launched.
